Le Soleil de Boracay Suns regained the driver's seat following a victory over Village Water Wolves, 19-6, in the 1st Smart and Thirsty 7 on 7 Flag Football Tournament at the Cebu International School field. Suns leading scorer Sean Sico started hot as he lead in the scoring with in the early goings of the game until the Water Wolves retaliated with their touchdown to level the game at 6-all.
Marcel Antigua and Reyner Sangil then stepped up with their respective touchdowns plus an additional conversion from Sangil for the final 19-6 victory. The win catapulted the Suns back to the top of the standings while the Waterwolves stayed in fifth place via points-differential.
On the other hand, the PJ Sykimte and Gio Borromeo-led Pink Flamingos posted a 26-18 win over the Transrover Sharks to stand at second place in the standing.
The Vudu Vikings also won their game at the expense of the Waterfront Titans, 20-6, with the efforts of Steve Maniquis which banged in three touchdowns, coming from the assists of the league's no.1 quarterback Ed Ugarte."
