♫I'm Flying....♪

While on his way back to the World Headquarters from his European travels Bird stopped in to visit some native Americans in upstate New York.

This tribe's request to participate in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has been accepted and the members are still trying to finalize their plans. Seen here is the first practice session with Bird observing.

The tribe decided they needed a giant balloon, but funds were short so they have been experimenting with pumping the tribal women's skirts full of helium in hopes that they can float with the balloons in the annual holiday tradition through Manhattan. Here Dances with Pigeons (right) releases Susan Ironfoot (center) who has just pumped up her skirt with helium as she attempts to float away.

Sadly this experiment ws not successful. After rising to near the top of the arena Susan lost her equilibrium and her head pointed down, releasing the helium stored in her skirt. Fortunately she will recover. The tribe is now looking into packing the skirts with small, individual bags of helium and expects to try again next week to get their gal to float.

Any Bird's suggestion they will also attach ropes to the floater in the next experiment, thus limiting her height until the bags prove themselves.
