Dress Rehearsal

The first photo from Macbird has arrived at The RBRWH and is posted to the left.

In the photo Bird (in the title role)clad in tartan attire stands over the body of the recently departed king while members of the royal court look on in horror or delight. Clicking on the photo will give you a much better look at the setting. The RBR is still waiting on the photos of Lady Macbird having trouble with her laundry. With luck more photos will be available later today.

In a related note Mansfield Univeristy is negotiating for three additional performances of the play.

Update:
The expected photo of Lady McBird and her compulsive handwashing problem after completing her laundry arrived at the RBRWH a short while ago (click on her nose and watch her grow). The king is dead and Lady Macbird is attempting to get the blood off her hands as she descends into madness caused by all her halloweenish plotting and scheming and her terrible lust for power. As this scene progresses she also begins to yell at the family dog, "Out damned Spot!"

The Lady obviously has is suffering from delusions of grandeur and the dog was suffering from improper house training as a puppy and inadequate reinforcement as an adult dog. Perhaps if proper time had been taken with the animal as a youngster these housebreaking problems would not have driven Lady Macbird over the edge.

A little know fact: the madness experienced by this character is where the term "bird brained" originated.
