Bird Picture
No, this time it isn't a picture of Bird. This time it is a picture that Bird took while assisting in the ongoing problems at Mt. St. Helens.
The shot to the left is looking from the southwest over the edge of the outer rim of the crater, and looking northeast toward Mt. Adams, another of the Coast Range volcanos. The picture was taken at sunset as Bird was preparing to drop the latest round of Gas-X into the crater. Click on the picture for a larger view.
Bird did an 'over-the-pole' flight early this morning to cover the opening of the long delayed Scottish Parliment building (Hollyrood) in Edinburgh, Scotland. Pictures of Bird with Queen Elizabeth II (no, not the ship) will be posted to the site as soon as they are received.
Bird will also be scouting out proper habitat for haggis hunting and he wishes to remind everyone that haggis season starts in 48 days.
