Waterfront Titans upset Tequila Joe’s

Waterfront Titans, Le Soleil, and Transrover Sharks logged separate wins in the 1st Thirsty-Smart 7-on-7 Flag Football Tournament at the MEPZA field.
Titans pulled off the biggest upset when they beat 6-on-6 defending champion Tequila Joes Pink Flamingos, 24-22, Le Soleil de Boracay Suns blanked Brix Crusaders, 32-0, while Transrover Sharks redeemed themselves with a 26-6 win over the Ramagal Doors Lycans.
The Flamingos were leading most of the way including at 22-18 until Donald Tevez scored a touchdown to power the Titans to a come-from-behind victory.
Sean Sico, on the other hand, canned two touchdowns as Le Soleil de Boracay cruised to its fourth victory.
