Retirement
Among the many festivities associated with Burns' Night at the Rare Bird Review is the official retirement of staff members.Posted to the left is the group photo of this year's retirees. Bird always poses with the recent retirees. Agnes McPherson (shown with her grandaughter Agnette) is our youngest retiree while Fiona Cameron (in the center of the picture) is our most senior retiree. Fiona has been with the RBR for 43 years, most recently as chief of formal protocol.
On an entirely different note, here is a picture of Rob (good name) who works in our receiving department. Rob is holding his L'il P-Bird talisman while Bird watches from the stairs on his left, while our newest associate, Pinky, peers over his shoulder. Rob took a grease pencil and expressed his sentiments about the evening on his chest. For some, unknown reason Rob called off sick today. Bird wishes him a speedy recovery. He's a good kid and not afraid to wear a bow tie in Scottish tartan.
