It Was a Great Time

Most of the folks are due back to work today at the World Hedquarters following Wednesday night's Burns' Day dinner and general celebration. Rubber stops have been placed on all the doors and aspirin or other pain killers are available in the dispensary. Over the next several days the RBR will post additional photos of the affair. Suffice to say "a good time was had by all."

The photo to the left shows part of the throng celebrating in the lobby when Bird made his entrance. One of the beverage stations is just behind the group in the picture.

In the photo to the right part of the crowd is enjoying some dancing in one of the alcoves of the headquarters building.
There were several bands and orchestras of different configuartions for everyone's enjoyment, and this is the light classical group playing traditional Scottish music following the dinner. These folks partied until early morning and a chiropractor will be available today for those whose "fling was flung" a little too much.

Bird, L'il P-Bird and the staff wish to thank everyone who helped out, especially Meg and her cooking crew from the headquarters commisary staff. The food was great, as it always is, Meg. Everyone thought it was unique the way you folks molded the haggis into little flamingos and roseate spoonbills. Quite a surprising touch!
