Mimimalism Part II 

Several items below it was mentioned that Dan Flavin, a minimalist artist who departed these earthly premises in 1996, spent most of the latter part of his career doing 'installations' involving flourescent and neon lights.

Here is a piece from the National Gallery of Art entitled "Yellow" by Flavin, done in 1963. It consists of a six foot, yellow, flourescent tube mounted diagonally on a black background. Since it doesn't get much more minimal than that, L'il P-Bird was really charged up about posing with the work. He adds a unique glow of his own.
