Bird Arrives 

Bird finally arrived in Florida to offer assistance to the victims of Hurricane Frances.

On the top left he offers assistance to Spl. Robert Birchbauer as he guards the entrance to a 'mobile home park' in Ft. Pierce. Bird brought sandwiches and soft drinks to help the Specialist through the day.

At the top right Bird and a local cousin stand guard over what is left of a basin at a Vero Beach Yacht Club. There were some delicious small crustaceons on the surface of the water.

In the bottom photo Bird assists Raoul Martin in loading 4 gallon boxes of water into a vehicle for delivery to thirsty citizens in Vero Beach.

After a hard day at work bird will be resting tonight but camera under wing he will be out again tomorrow helping less fortunate folks and flamingos in his unique way.
