An Irishman?
What we have here is a photo of the spectator who crashed the Olympic marathon course a little over an hour ago and grabbed the race leading Brazilian.
It's only important here because of the internet. Scanning the world press very quickly here's how some of the news agencies and newspapers labeled the event.
San Franciso Chronicle called him "an oddly dressed man." Reuters referred to him as a "spectator." Il Luna from Italy labeled him a "wacko." The Australian News Service called him a "nut-case". The Washington Times called the guy a 'protester," as did NBC during their broadcast.
The Guardian out of London labeled him a "possible Irishman." That, of coure, was the one that caught the attention of the RBR, but sadly there was a somewhat logical explanation for that call. The paper claims he resembles a similarly dressed idiot who raced onto the track during last years British Grand Prix.
And as this is being typed he turns out to be an Irishman per NBC. He is the same moron who ran onto the course at Silverstone.
