Keeping Cool 

Temperatures sre still much too high here at the World Headquarters, but Bird found a way to stay cool with the help of some surfers at a nearby lake. Of course, the only surf they get in this lake is the wake from water skiing boats, but at least they are cool. The added benefit is that they stir up all sorts of flamingo delicacies from the bottom of the lake. Bird much appreciates the snack.

The annual RBR World Headquarters Highland Games, which were scheduled this weekend, have been postponed until the first weekend in October. Hopefully the weather will be somewhat cooler for the caber tossing.

And speaking of cooler - bird suggests gin and tonic to beat the heat.
