Swans Are Quiet....
♫♪On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me - seven swans a-swimming......After the experience yesterday with the geese being a little too loud we opted to go with mute swans for this day. No one told us in advance how nasty swans are. They may be silent but they can beat you to death with those wings and, wow, can they bite. It was total chaos.
The photographer finally decided to shoot the goslings that were swimming nearby rather than wring the neck of the next adult swan that bit him in the behind. The janitorial crew liked the swans better than the geese because they left their leavings in the water instead of on the grass, the sidewalks, the ornamental sculptures, etc.
With apologies to Bird, thank heaven we are finished with the avian part of this idea!
