♪Bird Songs♫
The Rare Bird Review, The Rare Bird Review Foundation, and Bird himself are proud to announce Bird Songs, a follow-up compilation CD and a successor to the wildly popular Flamingo Soul CD released last spring.
Bird, L'il P-Bird and the entire staff in the audio section are busy completing the work on the project. The art department is working overtime to complete their part of the project while our resident musicologist, Fithian Rankin, is busy working on the liner notes assisted by the Giant Plastic Jesus.
This CD has an expanded focus from the previous one which featured flamingo soul music. While there are still a number of flamingo songs included other avain friends and relatives are featured as well on this project.
The expected release date is April 1, 2006 (no foolin'). Proceeds from the CD will be earmarked for vaccines and administration of the vaccines to combat bird flu among the pinker residents of the Carribean basin.
