Bird's World
Bird's world seems to be expanding as witnessed by the two photos that were taken last summer near Baghdad and sent to us by a new reader of the site, Jeff, who returned from that part of the world in October.The first photo overlooks the airport while the second was taken while the flamingo was cruising the local Burger King outlet.
Bird is obviously thrilled that his relatives are helping out in such a difficult locale, but he reamins a little worried about them being in harm's way. Jeff assured us that the bird's are well loved and watched over.Bird now assumes that the poopularity of his site in neighboring Iran may have something to do with the arrival of these guys in Iraq. Bird would like to assure those readers in Iran that the birds are not WMD's. They are peaceful critters and should be left alone.
