Off to the Highlands 

Presented 'ere is a paintin' titled A Gamekeeper wiv Six Gordons and One Flamingo. It is the center detail from a right large painitin' from the collection of the late George S. Pugh of Xenia, Ohio. It were purchased by Guvnor Pugh on a trip ter England in 1952.

It shows an 'ighland gamekeeper wiv six Gordon Setters waitin' patiently for the bloody ghillies ter arrive wiv the nets and the chuffin' hunt ter begin. Perched on the rock behind the gamekeeper is one of Bird's distant relatives from Tanganyika 'oo were visitin' the poet Robert Burns and decided on a day of sport.

The artist were a lowland Scot 'oo were more famous for 'is cah* paintings.

The bloody original paintin' is four feet by five feet. This is the full size so clickin' on the picture is a werete of time for this put the mockers on Bird's tour.
