Pipers! 

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me, eleven pipers piping......♫

With Bird's Scottish relatives as a factor when the call went out for pipers piping the RBR was overwhelmed with responses. While it was difficult to find ten lords a-leaping (or even one) there was no trouble getting pipers to show up. Of course we went with the ones wearing the pink shirts and socks.

This was actually the first shot for this series and as you can see it was still autumn when the photo was taken. We wound up with almost eleven hundred pipers so there was an impromptu parade through the neighborhood surrounding the world headquarters
