♪Happy Birth-month to Us♫

As May draws to a close the Rare Bird Review (Electronic Edition) celebrates the start of its third year. Yes, we are aware that there are four candles in the photo, but math is not the strong suit for flamingos. Tomorrow's formal observance will no doubt feature leftover crustaceon from yesterday's little party pictured below.

Sooooooooo, a few statistics and observations from two years.

The largest percentage of our readers still come from the United States, but Bird definitely gets around.

The Top Ten
1. Unites States (68%)
2. United Kingdom (6%)
3. Canada (4.5%)
4. Singapore (3%)
5. Australia (2%)
6. Mexico (1%)
7. Iraq (1%)
8. India (1%)
9. France (1%)
10. Japan (1%)

All together there have been visitors from 103 countries to the site. For some reason the RBR is now on the approved list in the People's Republic of China and there has been an influx of visitors from there. At the rate those visits are occurring China should crack the top ten soon. We continue to have a couple of regular readers somewhere in Iran, and we are certain that they believe this site is run by the CIA. Two other regular readers deserve a mention - our "every Sunday" reader from Iceland and a frequent visitor from Vanuatu. Thanks for visiting, folks!

After a long struggle Domingo the Flamingo has finally moved ahead of Brad Pitt's butt as the top search term used to find the site. Domingo was the porn bird whose photo was posted in our first summer on the web. The Giant Plastic Jesus is running a strong third in that race.

For our friends in Scotland, Bird intends to visit for this year's "Edinburgh Tattoo" celebration in August. Warm up the bagpipes!
